Today, Ambassador Flávio Roberto Bonzanini, Secretary-General of the Agency for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean (OPANAL), met with Mr. Xiaoyu Wang, Secretary-General of the Conference on the Establishment of a Zone Free of Nuclear Weapons and other Weapons of Mass Destruction in the Middle East (UNODA/MEU). Accompanied by Tomisha Bino, Political Affairs Officer of UNODA, and Martha Mariana Mendoza Basulto, International Relations Officer of OPANAL, the two held an important exchange aimed at strengthening cooperation between both regions in their shared goal of a world free of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.
