Nicaragua

Nicaragua signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco on 15 February 1967, ratified the Treaty on 24 October 1968 and on that same date presented its declaration of exemption to the requirements indicated in Article 29, paragraph 2, of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Nicaragua signed a Nuclear Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on 28 February 1975, in accordance with Article 13 of the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

Nicaragua signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) in London and Washington on 1 July 1968 and ratified it on 6 March 1973 in Washington.

Nicaragua signed the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) on 24 September 1996 and ratified it on 5 December 2000.

Nicaragua signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) on 22 September 2017 and ratified it on 19 July 2018.
